What is Onsitego Extended Warranty?
Onsitego Extended Warranty replicates the warranty provided by your manufacturer for a period of up to 1 year beyond what the manufacturer provides. The plan covers all malfunctions and manufacturing defects in the device or appliance. Extended Warranty is applicable for 1 additional year after the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty. However, the sum of the manufacturer’s warranty and extended warranty should not exceed 5 years. You can buy Extended Warranty till up to 9 months after purchasing a device or appliance.
What is Onsitego Spills & Drops Protection Plan?
Onsitego Spills & Drops Protection plan protects your device from any kind of physical or liquid damage. The plan can be bought only on the same day as the day of your device purchase. It is valid for 1 year, and starts from the date of purchase of the plan and is valid till 12 months calculated from the date of purchase of the device as mentioned on the invoice.
Are there any additional charges applicable for Extended Warranty plans during repair requests?
No, raising a repair request during the Extended Warranty is completely free. All the costs are covered as part of the plan.
Are there any additional charges applicable for Spills and Drops Protection plans during service?
Yes, There is a Copayment which needs to be paid at the time of raising Service Request. Copayment amount to be paid is Rs. 599 or 5% of device price (whichever is higher) which has to be paid at the time of availing the service.
How does it make sense financially to opt for a Protection Plan for your Laptop?
Extended warranty for a 30k laptop costs only Rs. 1,999. A simple motherboard change will cost you more than Rs. 6,000 in the market. A smallish crack in the screen will render it useless and cost upwards of Rs. 5,000. It always makes financial sense to opt for protection plan
When should I protect the Laptop?
NOW! Do not delay it. Ideally an extended warranty should be purchased within 9 months of buying the laptop. Where-as a damage protection plan should be purchased on the same day as buying the laptop.
Why should I protect my Laptop?
A humbling majority of laptops break down on their own over 3-4 years. Some laptops are subjected to accidents and negligence by the owners. Data suggests that on an average about 15k is spent over a laptop within 4 years. Why not pay just a small fraction of it, and be happy.
When does my Laptop Warranty/Protection start?
Our laptop warranty plan starts immediately after the manufacturers' warranty expires. For eg; If your laptop warranty or brand warranty expires on 20 May 2017, our warranty starts on 21 May 2017, such that your laptop is always covered. This is why it is important to purchase laptop protection plan in time. Damage Protection plans start right from the day you buy the plan.
Which Laptop Protection Plan is best suited for me?
If you want your laptop to work beautifully for at least 2 years, you should ideally get damage protection along with a laptop extended warranty plan. No matter what the brand, some devices fail on their own. So investing in the right laptop protection plan can give your laptop a prolonged life. Portability makes laptops prone to physical damage even with a splash of water or tea, rendering them damaged, and making you inconvenienced. So we recommend you buy both.
How do I raise a service request?

I changed my mind and I want to cancel the plan. Can I get a refund?
While we will be sorry to see you cancel the plan, we can certainly refund the plan within 30 days, provided you have not already filed a Service Request.
What's your international coverage policy?
We cover laptops which have been purchased only in India. We will cover such laptops if they go bust in any part of the world! A few features like pick and drop may not be available in such cases. You will need to get the laptop repaired, and we will reimburse you. What if the device cannot be repaired?
If the device cannot be repaired due to unavailability of spare parts, Onsitego will provide you with a new or refurbished
How do I know if my Laptop's hard drive has malfunctioned?
To be sure if the hard drive has really malfunctioned, you can go to File explorer > click the Windows button on the bottom left > search for File explorer > right click on the drive you want to check > go to 'Properties' > In windows, go to 'Tools' > click the 'Check' option. Check if the airplane mode on your laptop is switched off and if Wi-Fi is switched on. If that doesn't help, re-install the drivers of the network adapter.
