What is Onsitego Extended Warranty?

Onsitego Extended Warranty replicates the warranty provided by your manufacturer for a period of up to 2 years beyond what the manufacturer provides. The plan covers all malfunctions and manufacturing defects in the device or appliance. Extended Warranty is applicable for up to 2 additional years after the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty, depending on the plan you buy. However, the sum of the manufacturer’s warranty and extended warranty should not exceed 5 years. You can buy Extended Warranty till up to 9 months after purchasing a device or appliance.

A simple screen crack will cost about 10k to be replaced. Data suggests that on an average about 14k is spent over a tablet within 4 years. Why not pay just a small fraction of it, and be happy !

NOW! Do not delay it. Purchase a damage protection on the same day of your device purchase. An extended warranty is more flexible, in that it can be purchased within 9 months of your device purchase. It costs a lot to delay these things, buy them now !

When does my Warranty / Protection start?

Our damage protection plan starts from Day 1, when you have made the payment for the plan. Our Warranty plans start on the day after the manufacturer's warranty expires. If the brand warranty expires on 20 May 2016, our warranty starts on 21 May 2016, such that your tablet is always covered.

What's your international coverage policy?

Accepted Answer

We cover tablets which have been purchased only in India. We will cover such tablets if they go bust in any part of the world! A few features like pick and drop may not be available in such cases. You will need to get the tablet repaired, and we will reimburse you. How do I raise a service request?

Click here to raise a service request or send “Hi” on WhatsApp and share what's wrong with the tablet. We will raise a request, get the tablet picked up, repaired and delivered to you !

Are there any additional charges applicable for Extended Warranty plans during repair requests?

Accepted Answer

No, raising a repair request during the Extended Warranty is completely free. All the costs are covered as part of the plan.

My Tablet's touch screen doesn't respond. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

We understand that if the touchscreen is not responsive, there is nothing you can do on the tablet. Getting this issue fixed can be expensive but there are a couple of things you could try before visiting the service center for repairs. Touchscreens are sensitive to any dust or dirt, so clean the screen before troubleshooting the problem.

What should I do if I crack my Tablet screen?

If the screen has totally cracked, fixing it can be really expensive. But if your tablet is already covered under the Onsitego Spills & Drops Protection Plan, you can get the device fixed free of cost. If not, you will need to visit the brand's service center for repair. We do not recommend getting it fixed from a local technician. The advantage of sticking with your device manufacturer is that the part used will be genuine.

The battery drains in just a few hours. How do I correct this?

Once charged, your tablet can work for a good 5 - 6 hours at a stretch. But if you leave the apps open, the battery can drain quickly. To save battery, ensure that the backlight is dim, as it consumes maximum power. Also keep your tablet's battery saver mode on, so that the settings change every time the battery drops.

You will need to clean your device by deleting unwanted apps or adding a microSD card to the device to increase the amount of storage. Clean out your music and videos saved on your tablet as well. Instead use Dropbox to store all your files
