Acer introduced three new Swift and Spin series laptops at its global press conference. These models include the Acer Swift 3 OLED, Spin 5, and Spin 3, which are the successors of last year’s models. They include 12th Generation Intel Core processors and Windows 11 out of the box.

Intel Evo certified laptops must meet certain minimal requirements, including performance, security, design, and battery life. The Swift 3 OLED features a 14-inch 16:10 WQXGA+ (2.8K) OLED panel certified by VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500. The laptop is available in a variety of SKUs, all of which feature the newest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.
The Swift 3 OLED can be equipped with an Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, up to 16GB DDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage. Dual heat pipes and an air inlet keyboard ensure high-performance thermals on the laptop. Acer’s TNR (Temporal Noise Reduction) technology is also employed in the FHD front-facing camera on the Swift 3 OLED to produce high-quality imagery even in low-light circumstances. Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and USB 4 ports.
Acer Spin 5 Specifications
The Acer Spin 5 convertible notebook is thin and light, featuring a 14-inch 16:10 WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) IPS LCD touch display with an 88% screen-to-body ratio. We get a 360-degree hinge with custom-designed bearings allowing for smooth transitions between multiple usage modes—laptop, stand, tent, or tablet mode. The Spin 5 is also available in a variety of configurations and is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P or Core i5-1240P processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics.
The Spin 5 features Acer’s Vortex Flow architecture, which boosts performance by up to 75 percent, and Dual D6 copper heat pipes to keep temperatures under control. For an improved audio/video experience, the laptop also includes Acer PurifiedVoice with AI-enhanced Noise Reduction and DTS Audio.
The Spin 5 also has up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage, Wi-Fi 6E, two Type-C USB ports with Thunderbolt 4, and conventional USB ports. The laptop also comes with a rechargeable Acer Active Stylus with Wacom AES 2.0 technology for better accuracy and control.
Acer Spin 3 Specifications
The Acer Spin 3 is identical to the Spin 5 in that it has a 14-inch (1,920 X 1,080) Full HD LCD panel with touch functionality. It also has the same 360-degree hinge as the Spin 5 and has a dockable Acer Active Stylus for drawing and writing on the go. The Spin 3 is offered in a variety of configurations, all of which have 12th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 U series processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.
The Spin 3 also has up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 1TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage, Wi-Fi 6, dual USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4, and an HD camera with Acer’s TNR technology, AI-enhanced Noise Reduction, and Acer’s PurifedVoice.
Acer Swift 3 OLED, Spin 3, And Spin 5 Price
The Acer Swift 3 OLED laptop is available in grey and gold, with prices starting at $899 (around ₹69,900). The Acer Spin 5 convertible laptop is available in grey and has a starting price of $1,349 (around ₹1,04,900). The Acer Spin 3 convertible laptop is available in grey and has a starting price of $849 (around ₹66,000). All three models will be available in the United States starting August 2022.
