Huami’s Amazfit Bip 3 smartwatch was introduced last week in India. The vanilla model from the Bip 3 series has now gone on sale as promised. However, there’s no word yet about the Bip 3 Pro variant. The vanilla Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro models are similar in design and features, with the exception that the top dog Bip 3 Pro comes with an in-built GPS. The new Amazfit Bip 3 includes a 2.5D curved display, A-GPS, 24-hour heart rate tracking, call/message/social media notifications, sports modes, and a two-week battery backup, among other features.

Amazfit Bip 3: Features, Specifications
The new Amazfit Bip 3 smartwatch gets an Apple Watch-inspired rectangular dial and flat sides. It sports a 1.69-inch TFT screen with 2.5D curved tempered glass, 240 x 280 pixels display resolution, and AF coating. The smartwatch gets 50+ pre-loaded watch faces and widgets, which can be customised according to your preference to show relevant information at a glance.
The Bip 3 comes with Bluetooth v5.0 LE, which offers reliable connectivity to smartphones or tablets. It can display social media notifications, calls, SMS, reminders, etc. It can utilise your handset’s GPS for enhanced fitness tracking.
The smartwatch comes loaded with 60 sports modes such as walking, running, cycling, strength training, yoga, and free training, among others. It packs in essential features such as BioTracker 2 PPG biometric sensor, 24-hour heart rate tracking, stress analysis, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), and women’s health. The in-built PAI Health Assessment System collects data from users’ everyday activities to provide a single-value score.
The Amazfit Bip 3 is powered by a 280mAh battery, which is touted to last up to 14 days with normal use and up to seven days with heavy usage. The watch is water-resistant for up to 50 metres underwater thanks to its 5ATM certified body. It is compatible with smartphones running on Android 7.0 or above and iOS 12 or above.
