Amazfit appears to be preparing to introduce two new smartwatches soon. The upcoming products are expected to be named the Amazfit GTR 4 and Amazfit GTS 4, and we have the images of these products coming in courtesy of GSMArena. While both these upcoming smartwatches will have the same internals, there will be a major difference in their appearance, states the report.
The Amazfit GTR 4 will reportedly feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with Always-on Display (AOD) support, while the GTS 4 will boast of a larger 1.75-inch AMOLED display. Both these smartwatches will have 200 watch faces, support for over 150 sports modes, and feature dual-band GPS. Let’s dive into the specifications of the GTR 4 and the GTS 4 ahead.
Amazfit GTR 4, Amazfit GTS 4 Specifications, Features (Expected)
The Amazfit GTR 4 will sport a round 1.43-inch AMOLED display that will have a 466 x 466-pixel resolution. The display panel will have support for the AOD functionality. The device will feature an aluminum alloy casing in silver and black colours with a side button and crown element on the right side for tactile control. The smartwatch will be available with leather, silicone, or nylon watch straps.
On the other hand, the GTS 4 will debut with black, rose gold, and brown casings with either silicone or nylon watch straps. It will feature a larger 1.75-inch AMOLED display with 390 x 450 pixel resolution. The device will have a rectangular form factor and an aluminum casing. The product will measure 9.9mm in terms of thickness and weigh 27 grams without the strap.
Both these upcoming smartwatches will feature a speaker and microphone with support for Bluetooth calling and independent music playback. As per the report, the company will also be fitting its new 4PD BioTracker 4.0 PPG optical sensor on these smartwatches which no doubt will offer more accurate all-day measurements for heart rate, blood oxygen, and stress levels. As for the software, both the smartwatches will run Zepp OS 2.0 interface. These smartwatches will even have Alexa support in some regions.
As far as the other key features go, these smartwatches will come pre-loaded with a bunch of first-party Amazfit apps which will offer support for over 150 sports modes with automatic recognition, sports guidance, and workout analysis. Both these smartwatches will also have 200 watch faces including matching AOD and dual-band GPS with support for all five global positioning systems. The Amazfit GTR 4 will pack a 475mAh battery which will reportedly last for 12 days on normal usage, while the GTS 4 will ship with a 300mAh battery which will purportedly last for seven days between charges.
