Amazfit has launched the successor to the Amazfit GTR 3 and the GTS 3 in the form of the Amazfit GTR 4 and the GTS 4. These new smartwatches offer improved GPS positioning, AMOLED display, over 150 sports modes, Bluetooth calling, and standalone music playback. Additionally, they sport a circular dial and a bigger battery. These new smartwatches are also confirmed to launch in India soon. Both smartwatches are already available in the US from today. The GTR 4 comes in Superseed Black, Vintage Brown Leather, and Racetrack Gray, while the GTS 4 is available for purchase in Infinite Black, Autumn Brown, Rosebud Pink, and Misty White colours. As mentioned above, both these new wearables are set to launch in India soon. The company is expected to announce the GTR 4 and GTS 4 official launch dates in the coming days.
Amazfit GTR 4, GTS 4: Specifications, Features
The GTR 4 comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display that has 466 × 466 pixels resolution and 326PPI pixel density. The screen has tempered glass and an anti-fingerprint coating. On the other hand, the GTS 4 sports a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with 341PPI pixel density. Both smartwatches run Zepp OS 2.0 and are compatible with devices running Android 7.0 and above as well as iOS 12.0 and above.
These smartwatches offer heart rate monitoring support, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, blood oxygen level measurement, menstrual cycle tracking, and much more. Both these wearables are equipped with a BioTracker 4.0 PPG biometric optical sensor. Additionally, both models have Bluetooth calling support and industry-first dual-band circularly-polarized GPS antenna technology for precise positioning.
The sports data on both these smartwatches can also be synced to Strava. These wearables offer support for 150 workout modes and have a Fall Detection feature. The GTR 4 has about 200 watch faces, while the GTS 4 gets 150 watch faces.
As for the battery, the GTR 4 packs a 475mAh battery unit which is reported to offer up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. On the other hand, the GTS 4 can purportedly last for up to eight days on a single charge. Both smartwatches take around two hours to charge completely. Other key features offered by the wearables include Bluetooth v5.0 LE, WiFi 2.4GHz, 2.3GB of internal storage, and 5ATM water resistant rating.
