Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max Goes On Sale In India For ₹6,499

Amazon had announced the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max for the Indian market last month. Now, the video streaming device is available for purchase via Amazon. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a beefed-up version of the Fire TV Stick 4K, and it offers Wi-Fi 6 and Dolby Vision playback support. The newly-released Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is up to 40% more powerful than its predecessor, considering that it has more RAM than the previous model.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max price in India is ₹6,499. Customers can purchase the Fire TV Stick 4K Max in India via Amazon.in or by visiting Amazon’s kiosks at a mall nearby. The pre-orders of the Fire TV Stick 4K Max were already kicked off in India last month.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max Specifications, Features

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max supports 4K 60fps HDR video streaming and playback. As mentioned earlier, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is 40% more powerful than the previous generation model. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek MT8696 processor. The chipset uses the PowerVR IMG GE8300 GPU and is paired with 2GB of RAM. The previous-generation Fire TV Stick 4K model came up with 1.5GB of RAM and it was powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. As for storage, the Fire TV 4K Max has up to 8GB of onboard storage for storing apps and games.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and has Dolby Atmos audio. Connectivity features of the device include Wi-Fi 6 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), which is an upgrade compared to the Fire TV Stick 4K’s Wi-Fi 5 connectivity. It has an HDMI output, a micro USB power inlet port, and Bluetooth 5.0. Similar to the previous Fire TV Stick, the newly-released Fire TV Stick 4K Max comes bundled with an Alexa Voice Remote, which has dedicated hotkeys for accessing Alexa, Prime Video, Prime Music, and Netflix. The device measures 99 x 30 x 14mm and weighs 48.4g. Considering that the streaming device supports Bluetooth 5.0, you can also pair Bluetooth speakers, headphones, and video game controllers to the Fire TV Stick 4K Max.
