Anker, a Chinese electronics company founded by Steven Yang, has launched a new robotic vacuum cleaner in the Eufy series. The Eufy Robovac X8 Hybrid is considered to be the most advanced robotic vacuum cleaner in the company’s portfolio and will go against the smart cleaning solutions from Eureka Forbes, Dyson, Realme, Roborock, and Xiaomi.
The Robovac X8 Hybrid is a 2-in-1 robotic vacuum cleaner, which comes with cleaning and mopping capabilities. It is aided by laser navigation for accurate cleaning of the user-specified route. Staying true to its ‘Smart’ vacuum cleaner tag, it comes with Wi-Fi connectivity. It is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice commands.

The Robovac X8 Hybrid is equipped with two turbine fans, each generating a suction power of 2000 Pa for efficient cleaning. The 80% of increased airflow reduces entanglement on the roller brush for improved vacuuming. The company claims, its twin turbine power enables it to suck 57.6% more pet hair. It uses an ‘Ultrapack Dust-Compression’ technology, which utilises the dust box volume by up to 127% to tightly pack the dust, to prevent it from flying back into the air while emptying it.
The Robovac X8 Hybrid can mop 140 square metres of your house with just 250ml of water. The iPath technology allows it to intelligently scan and build a virtual map of the house for efficient cleaning. It is also capable of avoiding obstacles, thanks to its laser-guided mechanism. The vacuum cleaner uses its AI Map 2.0 technology, to generate multi-floor maps to help it determine whether it is cleaning on the first floor, second floor, basement or attic. You can also select no-go zones, customise cleaning zones and more via the Eufy app, which is available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The Eufy Robovav X8 Hybrid smart vacuum cleaner comes in a sole Black colour option. It is priced at ₹34,999 and will be available for purchase via Flipkart. Buyers will get a 12-month warranty on the product.
