Apple is updating its iWork suite of applications to the latest version 12.0. The last update was released back in September last year with the software build 11.2. iWork is Apple’s proprietary productivity suite that has everything you need to write a report, create a spreadsheet, or craft a presentation. The entire iWork suite has been updated with new features for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS users. The latest updates to Pages, Numbers, and Keynote applications bring improvements for publishing books with larger file sizes and more.
Let’s check out the latest update for the iWork suite of applications in detail and find out what it has in store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users.
Numbers 12.0 For iPhone, iPad, and Mac
The latest software version 12.0 brings three new features for the Numbers app on iOS, iPad, and macOS devices:
- Copy a snapshot of table cells without formulas, categories, or hidden values
- Edit font size more precisely with up to two decimal places
- Create formulas and quickly fill cells with autofill using VoiceOver

With the latest update, Apple is bringing the following improvements to the Pages app:
- Publish directly to Apple Books with larger file sizes up to 2 GB
- Insert page numbers anywhere in your document
- Edit font size more precisely with up to two decimal places
- Quickly start writing a new document on iPhone — just touch and hold the Pages app icon on the Home Screen
- Read comments and track changes using VoiceOver
Keynote 12.0 For iPhone, iPad, and Mac
Lastly, the Keynote app is getting two new features with the latest update for the iWork suite of applications:
- Enlarge slides to a maximum zoom level of 400%
- Edit font size more precisely with up to two decimal places
While the last software update 11.2 brought lots of improvements for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote apps, the latest version 12.0 adds subtle changes. Since Apple has just started rolling out the updates, it might take a while to appear on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
