Asus ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED Launched In India: Price, Specifications

The Asus ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED (B5302) is the latest addition to the business category of notebooks of the company in India. The laptop is built to last as it comes with a Magnesium-Aluminium durable body. More importantly, the laptop comes with an OLED touchscreen display with a 360-degree hinge design.

Last year, the company displayed its ability to offer an OLED display with the Vivobook K15 laptop priced under ₹50,000. Now, the higher-end ExpertBook B5 Flip too gets the superior display tech. The ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED (B5302) is powered by Intel’s 11th Generation processors, Iris Xe graphics, premium build, long battery backup, and much more.

The ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED (B5302) comes with a premium build and falls in the thin and light category of laptops owing to its 16.9mm thickness and 1.3kg weight. The notebook comes with an MIL-STD 810H US military-grade certification to resist shocks and survive in extreme heat or cold.

The Asus ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED sports a 13.3-inch FullHD OLED display with 400nits peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 16:9 aspect ratio. You can get the laptop with two CPU options, Intel Core i5-1135G7 and Intel Core i7-1165G7 coupled with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It comes equipped with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200MHz frequency and can be expanded to up to 48GB. It comes with two M.2 PCIe SSD slots that can take up to 2 TB of SSD drives. 

The ExpertBook B5 Flip lacks a physical numeric keypad but gets the Asus NumberPad 2.0 LED-illuminated numeric keypad on the touchpad, which should solve the purpose for many. The keyboard is also illuminated and comes with a spill-proof design. 

For video calling purposes, it gets a 1MP camera with 720p video resolution, which is advertised to offer up to 23 percent lesser noise in low-lit conditions. To justify its business category laptop tag, it gets AI (Artificial Intelligence) powered microphones on-board for noise cancellation.  

Other noteworthy features of the laptop include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and TPM 2.0 chip for user security. 

The ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED gets a four-cell 66W battery under its hood, which promises to keep its lights on for up to 12 hours. The USB-C 65-watt fast charger promises to deliver up to 60 percent of charge in 39 minutes.

The Asus ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED (B5302) prices start from ₹1,39,000 onwards in India. Like all ExpertBooks, this one too will be available to purchase via Asus Authorised Commercial PC retailers from February 2, 2022.
