The ASUS VivoBook 13 Slate OLED laptop was launched globally last year at Asus’ ‘Wow The World’ online event. The brand says it was the world’s first 2-in-1 convertible type laptop with an OLED screen. Now, it has finally arrived at the shores of India, and comes with a detachable keyboard, magnetic stylus pen, quad speakers, Intel’s quad-core processor, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, fast charging tech, and a whole lot more.

The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate comes with an aluminium lid and flaunts a 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen display with Full HD+ resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio and covers 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display comes with Pantone’s colour calibration for colour accuracy and TUV Rheinland certification that promises to cut up to 70 percent of harmful blue light emissions. The OLED display can achieve a peak brightness of 550 nits, aiding in legibility under harsh sunlight. Moreover, it comes with a 0.2ms response time for watching fast-paced action films or sports.
The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate is powered by a quad-core Intel Silver N6000 processor clocked at 1.1GHz with burst performance peaking at 3.3GHz when required for heavy tasks such as gaming. It comes equipped with up to 256GB PCIe 3.0 SSD and up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM.
The laptop comes with a dual-camera setup comprising a 13MP rear-facing sensor and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It comes with an AI-supported microphone and AI-enabled speakers to enhance your video calling experience.
The detachable keyboard connects with the display with the help of strong magnets and ‘Pogo Pin’ connectors. It comes with a 1.4mm key travel, 19.05mm full-size key pitch, and a 0.2mm key-cap dish. The magnetic stylus pen gets four interchangeable tips, an LED indicator, erase button, a mouse right clock function, 266Hz touch sampling rate, 4096 pressure levels, and a hidden USB Type-C port. The OLED screen is supported by quad speakers coupled with an integrated dual-channel smart amplifier and Dolby Atmos support. The laptop promises high-quality sound, owing to its quad-speaker setup coupled with a smart amplifier and Dolby Atmos support.
Other noteworthy features include Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6, one 3.5mm audio, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and a microSD card slot. For biometrics, it comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. The convertible laptop packs in a 50WHr battery, which promises up to 60 percent charge in just 39 minutes. The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate runs on Windows 11 out of the box. The built-in Intel Bridge feature of Windows 11 allows you to run Android apps in both landscape and portrait mode on this laptop.

The ASUS VivoBook Slate 13 OLED is priced at a starting price of ₹45,990, which is almost similar to its US launch price. It will be available to purchase via ASUS’ website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retailers.
