Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Earbuds Launched: Price, Specifications

Bang & Olufsen has launched its new TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earphones, the Beoplay EQ. These are the first TWS earbuds from the company to feature ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). The earbuds come with an in-ear design and are equipped with 6.8mm electrodynamic drivers. They feature six microphones, an anodized aluminium build, Bluetooth 5.2, fast charging, water splash resistance, and Qi wireless charging. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ come in two colours variants.

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ Price in India

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ price is set to $399 (around ₹29,665) in the US and EUR 399 (around ₹35,215) in Europe. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ earbuds will go on sale from August 19, 2021. As of now, there is no information on whether these TWS earbuds will launch in the Indian market.

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ Specifications, Features

The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ earbuds are made from anodized aluminium and they have an in-ear design. These earbuds use Bluetooth v5.2 with support for SBC, AAC, and aptX Adaptive codecs. These earbuds are equipped with 6.8mm electrodynamic drivers and have a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds also have ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and Transparency Mode.

They even have a customisable audio equaliser which can be adjusted with the Bang & Olufsen app on Android and iOS smartphones. The earbuds come with four pairs of silicone ear tips and medium-sized Comply Isolation memory foam ear tips. The earbuds also have an IP54 rating, which means that they can withstand dust and some water splashes.

Each earbud packs an 85mAh battery. These earbuds can deliver a battery life of 6.5 hours with ANC turned on and up to 7.5 hours with ANC turned off. With the charging case, the earbuds can deliver a total of up to 20 hours of playtime. The earbuds take one and a half hours to get fully charged. They also support Qi wireless charging and can charge the earbuds in one hour and 50 minutes. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ earbuds also support fast charging, and they can deliver around two hours of playtime with 20 minutes of charging.
