It has a backlit keyboard, a decently-sized Windows Precision trackpad, a fingerprint reader, a microSD card slot, three USB Type-A ports (two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.2), a USB-C 3.2 port, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. It features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity. It weighs just 1.4kg, which is light enough to not be a burden during long travel periods. Plus, it comes in attractive colour options.
2. Acer Swift 3 – ₹63,999 Onwards
The Acer Swift 3 is the best thin-and-light laptops Acer has ever made in this price segment. It has a 13.5-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It is equipped with an 11th Gen. Intel Core i5 processor with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. It is powered by a 56WHr battery, which is enough to last up to 8 hours on a single charge.
Other features include a 720p webcam, a fingerprint reader, a backlit keyboard, a Windows Precision touchpad, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. This laptop weighs just 1.19kg, which is quite light and won’t be a problem while you’re travelling. 3. LG Gram 14 – ₹67,990
At just 990g, the LG Gram 14 is probably the lightest laptop on this list. It has a 14-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD resolution and 350 nits brightness, which is among the brightest in its price range. It uses the 10th Gen. Intel Core i5 processor, has 8GB RAM, and comes with 256GB SSD. You can upgrade it by adding another RAM stick (up to 32GB) and an M.2 SSD in the empty slot. Its processing power is enough for most day-to-day tasks and it lasts around 8-10 hours on a single charge. It has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, an HDMI port, two USB Type-A ports, a Thunderbolt 3 port, and USB-C charging.
However, I would advise you to wait a month or two for the upcoming version of the LG Gram 14, because it brings a newer and more appealing design, a 16:10 screen (which some might prefer for better productivity), an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor for faster CPU and GPU performance, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a larger trackpad.
4. ASUS ZenBook 14 – ₹77,990 Onwards
The 2021 version of the ASUS ZenBook 14 comes with an 11th Gen. Intel Core i5 processor and Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. It has an excellent build quality and a sophisticated design. It has a 14-inch IPS-level LCD screen with Full HD resolution and slim bezels. It features 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. It is quite compact and weighs just 1.17kg.
It has a backlit keyboard, a large-sized Windows Precision touchpad that can double-up as a number pad, and a 720p webcam with Windows Hello IR.
