DIZO Watch R Talk With 1.3-inch OLED Display, Bluetooth Calling, 10-Day Battery Life Launching On September 7: Specs

A couple of days back, DIZO’s CEO, Abhilash Panda, shared a teaser image of two upcoming smartwatches for the Indian market. Their names and specifications were under wraps at the time. We reported that these could be the new DIZO Watch R Talk and the DIZO Watch D Talk and also listed some of their key features. Now, the company has confirmed their model names and also revealed its launch dates.

The Watch R Talk and the Watch D Talk will make their debut in India on September 7, 2022. The Watch R Talk and the Watch D Talk are based on the Watch R and the Watch D respectively, which were launched earlier. The new smartwatches add a Bluetooth calling feature that was missing in the previous iteration. Also, this is DIZO’s first attempt at developing smartwatches with calling capabilities.

DIZO Watch R Talk: Highlights

The DIZO Watch R Talk will be a premium offering from the company. The smartwatch comes with a circular dial made of metal. It sports a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with 360 x 360 pixels resolution, 392 PPI, and 500 nits peak brightness. Being an AMOLED panel, it can take advantage of the always-on display feature to display time, notifications, and alerts. To protect the display from scratches, it comes with tempered glass with 7H hardness.

The company claims that the Watch R Talk’s single-chip technology will offer stable connectivity and will also aid in battery efficiency. The smartwatch boasts of a 120 percent larger speaker driver for efficient voice calling. The Watch R Talk is reported to deliver up to 10 days of battery life with normal use and up to five days with the calling feature activated.

DIZO Watch D Talk: Highlights

The DIZO Watch D Talk comes with a similar design as the Watch D. It gets a rectangular dial and curved display glass. The smartwatch will flaunt a 1.8-inch display, which is expected to be an LCD. The company has confirmed that it will come loaded with over 120 sports modes. It is expected to inherit some features from the vanilla Watch D such as heart rate tracking, sleep monitoring, women’s health, calorie intake, and 5 ATM water resistance.

The DIZO Watch R Talk and DIZO Watch D Talk will be available for purchase via Flipkart. We expect more details on these products ahead of the launch.
