Micromax is gearing up to launch a new IN series smartphone in India. The company made a comeback a couple of years ago. It has a bunch of smartphones—Micromax In 1, Micromax In Note 2, and Micromax In 1b—in its portfolio already. Soon, it will launch the Micromax In 2C. While we wait for the brand to start teasing the device, Onsitego has exclusively learned key specifications of the upcoming smartphone, through industry insiders.

Our sources reveal that the upcoming Micromax In 2 will sport a 6.52-inch flat display. It will have a dual-camera setup at the rear, including an 8MP primary shooter. The secondary camera sensor’s details remain a mystery but we may expect the brand to include a depth or macro camera to tag along with the main sensor.

It is likely that the phone uses an LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone might have minimum bezels and a fairly large chin at the bottom. The phone has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.

The smartphone is rumoured to come equipped with the 12nm UnisoC T610 processor, which has an octa-core CPU with two ARM Cortex-A77 cores and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores. Graphics are handled by the ARM Mali G52 3-EE GPU, which runs at 614.4MHz.

Earlier reports reveal that the smartphone may launch in India by the end of April 2022 or early May 2022.
