After a long hiatus in terms of product launches, Fitbit unveiled three new fitness trackers today. The Fitbit Inspire 2, Fitbit Sense, and the Fitbit Versa 3 bring the latest in activity and fitness tracking from the Google-owned company. These devices offer longer battery life when compared to smartwatches and fitness trackers from the likes of Apple, Fossil, and Samsung.
The Inspire 2 is an affordable fitness tracker in the form of a band, while the Sense and the Versa 3 are full-fledged smartwatches with more advanced tracking features. The Fitbit Sense offers improved heart-rate monitoring and ECG. Plus, it also features a skin temperature sensor and stress detection. Let us have a look at the features and specifications of the Inspire 2, Sense, and Versa 3 after glancing at their prices.
Fitbit Inspire 2, Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Versa 3 India Price
The Fitbit Inspire 2 is the cheapest of the three newly unveiled devices, and it is priced at ₹10,999. The Fitbit Versa 2 is priced at ₹26,499, while the Fitbit Sense India price is set at ₹34,999. These fitness trackers will be available in India in the fourth quarter of 2020 (October).
Fitbit Inspire 2 Features, Specs
The Fitbit Inspire 2 is a band-shaped fitness tracker with a portrait mono-coloured display that’s brighter than the previous-generation Fitbit Inspire. It has a 10-day battery life, 24×7 heart-rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and activity tracking. The company’s Active Zone Minutes feature is available, too, apart from 20+ goal-based exercise modes, and menstrual health tracking. The Fitbit Inspire 2 comes bundled with a one-year free trial of Fitbit Premium for added guidance and motivation.
Fitbit Sense Features, Specs
The Fitbit Sense is the company’s best smartwatch yet. It sports a rounded square-shaped OLED screen with an integrated ambient light sensor, always-on display mode, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is resistant to dust and water (up to 50 meters), thanks to an IP68 certified design. The Fitbit Sense also has an always-on mode for the display and a built-in loudspeaker and microphone for calls and media playback.
It features advanced sleep tracking, a heart-rate monitor, ECG, EDA, GPS, and a temperature sensor. The EDA sensor helps you understand your body’s response to stress. It requires placing the palm on the smartwatch’s screen. The Fitbit Sense also comes with built-in support for Alexa and Google Assistant. There’s NFC for mobile payments via Fitbit Pay. It also features various clock faces, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi.
Fitbit Versa 3 Features, Specs
The Fitbit Versa 3 features accelerometer, altimeter, gyro, on-device GPS, and sleep tracking. It also features Active Zone Minutes, Smart Wake, Sleep Mode, guided breathing sessions, menstrual health tracking, and workout intensity maps. It features IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, 20+ goal-based exercise modes. There is an OLED screen and Always-On display mode. NFC and Fitbit Pay means you can make mobile payments.
There’s music streaming via Deezer, Pandora, and Spotify. It also displays notifications, messages, and calls. The Fitbit Versa 3 also comes with Alexa and Google Assistant. The Fitbit Versa 3 comes in three colours: black strap + black aluminium case, pink clay strap + soft gold aluminium case, and midnight strap + soft gold aluminium case. It features 6-day battery life, fast charging, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
