Fossil has launched its latest Gen 6 series smartwatch, the Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition. The newly launched Gen 6 Wellness Edition is the first smartwatch from the brand to run the new Wear OS 3 platform. The Fossil Gen 6 is a health-centric smartwatch and comes with a 1.28-inch touchscreen display. The smartwatch is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4100+ chipset and also supports fast charging. The Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition is priced at $299 (roughly ₹24,700). The smartwatch comes in black, silver, and rose gold colour options. It will be available for purchase from October 17, 2022 via the Fossil website in the US. As of now, there’s no word on when the smartwatch will be available in India.

The Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition flaunts a 1.28-inch always-on OLED display which is housed in a 44mm case. The smartwatch’s rotating crown has two buttons which are used to navigate across the UI as well as access the apps. Powering this latest Gen 6 series smartwatch under the hood is a Snapdragon 4100+ processor.

As for the software, this new smartwatch runs Wear OS 3. It packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The smartwatch comes with three watch faces and also supports on-wrist calls. The Gen 6 Wellness Edition also includes cardio tracking, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, VO2 Max, as well as automatic workout tracking. The smartwatch lacks Google Assistant support, but there’s Amazon’s Alexa support available.
