Fujifilm has introduced its GFX50S II mirrorless camera to the Indian market. Announced back in September 2021, this product features a 51.4MP image sensor with in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) mechanism. According to the Japanese brand, the GFX50S II’s sensor is around 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor. Despite housing such an elaborate setup, the camera tips the scales at just 900g. It has an ergonomic grip to ensure comfort for long shoots. The GFX50S II’s is made from magnesium alloy, which is known for adding strength without adding to the weight. Fujifilm has sealed the camera for dust and moisture resistance.

As per Fujifilm, this combination ensures a quick and accurate lock on the subject in most conditions. Fujifilm further adds that the 51.4MP sensor is designed to capture more light. This enables users to capture finer detail and also get creative with a shallow depth of field effect.
Moving onto videos, the camera captures Full HD videos in H.264 and MPEG-4 format. It offers 19 Film Simulation modes to get the final look right on the camera. The camera sports a 1.8-inch LCD screen on the top panel to offers a quick glance at settings. Then, there’s a 3.2-inch LCD monitor that can swivel in three directions.

The Fujifilm GFX50S II price in India is ₹3,79,999 (body only), and it is available for purchase in India via e-commerce portals and brick-and-mortar stores across the country. Along with the camera, Fujifilm also showcased the GF35-70mm F4.5-5.6 WR lens, which is priced at ₹74,000.
