Garmin is upping the ante with its newest Fenix 7 series smartwatches that have launched in the US. The company’s flagship watch will appeal to your sporty side with features such as Daily Workout Suggestions, Real-Time Stamina, and Visual Race Predictor. Besides, it also comes with a multi-LED flashlight to light the way when you’re off for a jog before the birds come out, or even if you fancy a late-night run. They come in three editions—Standard (non-solar), Solar and Sapphire Solar Editions. The Garmin Fenix 7 and Garmin Fenix 7S retail from $700 (approx. ₹52,100) to $900 (approx. ₹67,000). On the other hand, the Garmin Fenix 7X is even pricier with a price tag starting from $900 (approx. ₹67,000) to $1,000 (approx. ₹74,500).
Garmin Fenix 7 Series Smartwatches Specifications, Features
The three models of the Garmin Fenix 7 Series smartwatches—the Fenix 7S, Fenix 7 and the Fenix 7X come in 42mm, 44mm, 47mm and 51mm case sizes respectively. All models except the standard edition support solar-charging. They are built from titanium and sapphire and have silicone straps. The Fenix 7 series have an upgrade on their predecessors with the introduction of touchscreens. Another neat feature is the new multi-LED flashlight for the Fenix 7X.
The Garmin Fenix 7 Series smartwatches come with fitness features such as respiration and stress tracking, SpO2, and wrist-based heart rate. It has also added a new feature called Recovery Time Advisor that analyses how much you’ve exerted yourself and supposedly calculates the amount of rest you need to recover, before you start your next training session.
The latest offering from Garmin comes with 32GB of storage. the company claims that the Garmin Fenix 7X models that are powered by solar energy can last for up to 5 weeks in smartwatch mode and up to 5 days in GPS mode. When it comes to connectivity, the smartwatches offer Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and ANT+ Connectivity.
