Garmin has introduced its hybrid smartwatch, the Vivomove Sport, in the Indian market. It was launched at the CES 2022 (Consumer Electronics Show) held in Las Vegas. After a couple of months, the smartwatch has finally reached India. The Garmin Vivomove Sport packs a hidden OLED display, hydration logging, 24-hour heart rate, A-GPS, in-built sports apps, smartphone notification alerts, and more.

You can access the touchscreen only when required. The watch comes with a silicone band and a colour matched dial. The metallic accents lend it a premium appeal.
The Vivomove Sport comes loaded with a slew of health features, normally available only on more expensive Garmin smartwatches. It gets Body Battery energy monitoring, all-day stress tracking, hydration logging, and sleep monitoring. Additionally, it also ships with women’s health features and breathwork activities.
The in-built sports apps include yoga, cycling, cardio, Pilates, strength, treadmill, etc. You can hook this smartwatch with your smartphone to utilise its GPS for improved accuracy. These features are essential for monitoring step count, calories burned, intensity minutes, and more.
In addition to the time, the smartwatch also displays notifications for incoming calls, SMS, social media apps, and other alerts. Android smartphone users can even reply to text messages right from the watch. The Garmin Connect app is compatible with Android and iOS, and holds your entire health and fitness data. You can connect with other users via the app and share your results with them.
Garmin claims the Vivomove Sport can last up to five days in smartwatch mode, and up to six days on watch mode. It can be paired with Android or iOS devices.
Garmin Vivomove Sport: Price, Availability
The Garmin Vivomove Sport is priced at ₹18,990 in India, which is significantly more expensive than its US launch price of $180 (₹13,500 approximately). The watch is available via Garmin stores, Nykaa.com, Nykaa Fashion, and Nykaa Man in Ivory, Cool Mint, Black, and Cocoa colourways.
