The Google Pixel 6a recently went on sale in India and in global markets. The device was launched by the search engine giant a few days back. Soon after the handset was shipped, Google rolled out the first OTA update for the device. The first OTA update for the Pixel 6a brought in the June 2022 security patch.
Now, Google has started rolling out the public beta of Android 13 for the Pixel 6a. To recall, the Android 13 public beta program first was introduced for the Pixel devices and other partner devices by Google earlier this year. If you are using a Pixel 6a and are willing to try out the newest version of Android, you can follow the steps below to install Android 13 on your device:
How to Install Android 13 Beta on Google Pixel 6a
- Visit the Android Beta webpage.
- Then, head over to the Eligible devices list..
- Register your Google Pixel 6a and opt in to the beta program.
- After enrolling for the same, your Pixel 6a will get an OTA update.
- Tap on the OTA notification and install the Android 13 beta update on your Pixel 6a.
Before following the above steps, users are advised to take a backup of all their important data. Additionally, considering that you are installing the Android 13 beta build, there might be some bugs that could cause issues.
