The Google Pixel 6a smartphone will go on sale in India for the first time today. The device was launched in India by Google last week. When it comes to the specifications, this new device has a 6.1-inch OLED display. Additionally, it offers Full HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by Google’s Tensor chipset which is accompanied by 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The smartphone runs Android 12 OS out of the box and packs a 4,410mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The Google Pixel 6a is priced at ₹43,999 in India for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the country exclusively via Flipkart. The handset comes in Charcoal and Chalk colour options.

As a part of the launch offer, interested buyers can avail ₹2,000 instant discounts with Axis Bank Debit and Credit Cards. Customers can also avail 10 percent off with SBI Credit Cards.

The Google Pixel 6a boasts of a 6.81-inch OLED display that has Full HD+ 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution. The display panel has a 429 PPI pixel density, a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a 10,00,000:1 contrast ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and HDR support. As for the software, this new smartphone runs Android 12 OS. The handset is confirmed to receive three years of Android OS updates. For security, the phone features an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The back of the smartphone consists of a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 12.2MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and 77° field of view. The 12MP primary camera is paired with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor that has an f/2.2 aperture and 114° field of view. An 8MP camera handles selfies and video-calling. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Tensor chipset. The System on Chip is paired with a Titan M2 security chip, a Mali G78 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
