Going by the leaked renders, the Pixel 6a appears to have a glass sandwich design and a metal chassis, which at its expected price point, would be a great thing to have. The handset will feature the same visor-shaped camera module that is seen on the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro, and it will house the dual-camera setup.
The smartphone is also said to sport a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint reader. The selfie camera will be placed inside a centred punch-hole display cutout. The Google Pixel 6a will be the first Pixel A-series smartphone to skip the 3.5mm audio jack. It is said to measure 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm. The Pixel 6a will run Android 12 out of the box and get three major Android OS updates and security updates for five years.
