Google’s newly launched Pixel 7 series smartphones, the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro, will go on sale in India for the first time today. The Pixel 7 series was launched by Google last week. Speaking about the specifications, the Google Pixel 7 comes with a 6.32-inch OLED display, while the Pixel 7 Pro features a 6.7-inch OLED display. Both these devices are powered by Google’s Tensor G2 chipset and they run Android 13 out of the box. The Pixel 7 has a 4,355mAh battery, while the Pixel 7 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery.

The device comes in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow colours. On the other hand,, the Pixel 7 Pro is priced at ₹84,999. It comes in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow colour options. Both phones will go on sale in India via Flipkart.
As a part of the launch offer, users can avail 10% instant discount (₹10,000 for the Pixel 7 and ₹11,250 for Pixel 7 Pro) with HDFC Credit and Debit cards. Additionally, customers can get the Fitbit Inspire 2 at a discounted price of ₹4,999.
Google Pixel 7 Series Specifications, Features
The Google Pixel 7 flaunts a smaller 6.3-inch OLED display that has an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Pixel 7 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that has QHD+ resolution and a variable 10-120Hz refresh rate. Both these devices ship with Google’s in-house Tensor G2 chipset. As for the software, these phones run Android 13 out of the box.
When it comes to imaging, both phones feature a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The Pixel 7 Pro, however, features an additional 48MP telephoto lens with a macro option. The telephoto lens has support for 5x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom. Both phones feature 10.8MP front-facing cameras which now offer a new depth mapping algorithm for better implementation of Face Unlock.
The Pixel 7 packs a 4,355mAh battery, while the Pixel 7 Pro is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. Both phones offer 30W wired fast charging and wireless charging support. The other key features which these devices offer include Photo Unblur, Cinematic Blur for portrait videos, 10-bit HDR video recording, IP68 rating, 5G SA/NA, 4G VoLTE, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
