GoPro had announced the GoPro Hero 10 Black camera in India last month. The camera was initially reported to go on sale in India in early November 2021. And, as promised, the GoPro Hero 10 Black is now available in India for purchase via Amazon and Flipkart. The GoPro Hero 10 Black arrives as a successor to the Hero 9 Black that was launched last year. It features a more powerful GP2 processor which offers better performance and improvements. It also has improved video recording, better UI performance, HyperSmooth 4.0 stabilization, and a higher refresh rate display. The GoPro Hero 10 Black priced in India is ₹54,500. It is available for purchase on Amazon as well as Flipkart. Customers who purchase the camera, get a rechargeable battery, curved adhesive mount, mounting buckle, USB-C cable, thumb screw, and a camera case bundled inside the box.

The GoPro Hero Black 10 captures 23MP photos and promises to capture better low-light images and smoother videos. The main new feature of the GoPro Hero 10 Black is its processor. The action camera packs in the new GP2 processor which offers better performance and overall improved image quality. Apart from the performance improvements, the GP2 also offers faster wired and wireless transfer speeds, less noise in videos, and 3D noise reduction.

The camera can now shoot up to 5.3K videos at 60fps, 4K videos at 120fps, and 2.7K videos at 240fps videos. Thanks to the new processor, the supported framerates in all these resolutions are now doubled compared to the Hero 9 Black. The new processor also brings local tone mapping to videos too. The GoPro Hero 10 Black’s Horizon Levelling feature limit is also extended up to 45 degrees, compared to 27 degrees on the Hero 9 Black.

As far as the display details go, the camera features a 2.27-inch main display on the back and a 1.4-inch display on the front. The camera also has Hypersmooth 4.0 which brings stabilization for videos. The GoPro Hero 10 Black is waterproof up to 10m. The lens cover of the camera is removable, similar to that of the previous model, and it is also compatible with all the mods that were introduced for the Hero 9 Black. The GoPro Hero 10 Black is even compatible with Max Lens Mod, Media Mod, Display Mod, and Light Mod. These accessories were introduced last year.

The camera can also automatically upload the content to the cloud and has several features such as TimeWarp 3.0, HindSight, Scheduled Capture, Live Burst, Night, Super photo+ HDR, RAW, and Smart capture. Connectivity features of the camera include GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio-in port for adding an external microphone. Last but not least, the camera packs a 1,720mAh battery. The camera also has the live streaming capability which lets you record live videos.
