Greta Electric, an electric vehicle startup, has launched the Greta Harper ZX Series-I electric scooter in India. The company is the first in the market to offer a configurable scooter, which means that the consumer can start with a barebones scooter and later choose the type and size of the battery. This could appeal to customers who want to customise their vehicle.

Greta Harper ZX Series-I Electric Scooter Features
A BLDC motor powers the Greta Harper ZX Series-I electric scooter, which is available with 48-60 Volt Li-Ion battery options. There is also a charge option; while the regular version battery can take up to five hours to fully charge, the higher-end models can charge in less than four hours. The scooter features three riding modes— Eco, City, and Turbo. It has a range of 100 kilometers in Eco Mode, 80 kilometers in City Mode, and 70 kilometers in Turbo Mode per charge.
Other features on the Harper ZX Series-I electric scooters include a three-speed drive mode, LED digital instrument cluster display, keyless start, front daytime running light, electronic braking system, anti-theft alarm system, cruise control, highway lights, and Find My Vehicle Alarm. Additionally, it is equipped with a USB port, Park Mode, fixed reverse speed limit, and IP65 waterproofing for critical components.
Greta Harper ZX Series-I Electric Scooter Price
The Greta Harper ZX Series-I is priced at ₹41,999 (ex-showroom), however, this does not include the cost of the battery and charger. The scooter is available in a variety of colours, including Midnight Green, Jet Black, Glossy Grey, Majestic Magenta, True Blue, and Candy White, and comes with a 3-year battery warranty. Chargers additionally cost between ₹3,000 and ₹5,000 depending on the fast charging levels.

- V3 48v-30Ah with 100km range costs: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000
- V2+60v-24Ah with 60km range costs: ₹21,000 – ₹24,000
- V3+60v-30Ah with 100km range costs: ₹27,000 – ₹31,000
The Greta Harper ZX Series-I electric scooter can be pre-booked for a fee of ₹2,000 at Greta Experience Studios. The company says that deliveries will begin within the next 45-75 days, based on the booking sequence.
