The ASUS ROG Phone 6 is all set to make its debut on July 5, 2022. The smartphone was recently spotted in a TENAA listing, revealing its design and key specifications. Now, Evan Blass and 91Mobiles give us a sneak peek at the upcoming ROG handset. The design of the ROG Phone 6 is distinctive and follows in the footsteps of ROG’s prior design philosophy. The smartphone will feature three cameras on the rear and a tiny ROG Vision display. Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming ROG Phone 6 and its accessories.
ROG Phone 6 Design Renders Leaked in Images
The ROG Phone 6 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 165Hz screen refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, Qualcomm’s most recent flagship SoC, will power the phone’s internals. Blass says that the device will include up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a big 5,850mAh battery that supports 65-watt rapid wired charging. As with any gaming phone, the ROG Phone 6 promises to be one of the fastest phones at the time of its debut.
A triple-camera arrangement on the back of the gaming phone can be seen in the renders. The phone will be able to record 8K videos, according to the inscription on the camera module. It will have a 1/1.56-inch main camera sensor. The camera module also houses the LED flash. The main camera on the ROG Phone 6 will be a 64MP shooter, according to the information that has surfaced. The camera array will also include a telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom sensor.
