Honor has quietly announced the Honor Play 6C in China. An affordable 5G smartphone, the Honor Play 6C features a Snapdragon chipset along with a single rear camera and a big battery with fast charging.

The smartphone features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with 90 Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution with 720 x 1600 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 480 chipset.
The Honor Play 6C features a 5-megapixel selfie camera housed in a water drop notch. At the back is a single 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash. There is a second camera cutout in the rear module, but it appears to be simply cosmetic.
The smartphone runs on Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 12, and features a side mounted fingerprint sensor. The highlight of the smartphone, apart from the 5G support, is the big 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. The Honor Play 6C comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and features dual SIM 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Honor Play 6C Price And Availability
The Honor Play 6C comes in two variants. The variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at RMB 1099 (roughly ₹12,800) while the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at RMB 1,299 (roughly ₹15,000). The smartphone comes in three colour variants–Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Titanium Silver.
The smartphone is only available in the Chinese markets as of now. The company is also set to announce its next X40-series flagship called the Honor X40 GT which may feature the Snapdragon 888 4G chipset, according to reports.
