Honor Watch GS 3 Launching In India Soon, Features Bluetooth Calling, 14-Day Battery Life: Specs

Honor introduced its GS 3 smartwatch at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2022. It went on sale in Honor’s home country, China, in January 2022. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch the GS 3 smartwatch in the Indian market. Amazon India has started teasing the smartwatch on its portal. However, it hasn’t revealed its launch date yet as the listing simply says “Coming Soon”. The Honor Watch GS 3 packs in an AMOLED screen, PPG, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, water resistance, and sports modes, among other features.  

Honor GS 3: Features, Specifications

The Honor Watch GS 3 smartwatch comes with a premium stainless steel build and an elegant look. It is designed such that it might pass off as a traditional watch to the untrained eye. The watch face is 10.5mm thick. The body weighs 44 grams, excluding the straps. The Honor GS 3 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 3D curved edges. It is equipped with 32MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. 

The smartwatch gets real-time heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, blood oxygen levels, stress detection monitoring, and more. The new eight-channel PPG (Photoplethysmography) sensor is claimed to provide accurate results. Fitness freaks would appreciate the GS 3’s variety of fitness modes, which exceeds 100 modes. Additionally, it packs in 10 professional sports modes and 85 custom sports modes.  

Some other noteworthy features include an AI Heart Rate Monitoring Engine, 5ATM water resistance, Bluetooth calling support, and an L1/L5 Dual Frequency GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). Honor claims that its GS3 smartwatch can last up to 14 days on a single charge with moderate usage. The fast charging support offers a full day of usage with just five minutes of charging.

Regarding health monitoring, the device includes a new eight-channel PPG sensor module with an AI Heart Rate Monitoring Engine to better track the user’s health. It also offers other monitoring features such as sleep, stress, etc. The watch works with both Android and iOS devices. 

Honor Watch GS 3: Price, Availability

The Honor Watch GS 3 could be priced between ₹20,000 and ₹22,000 in India. It comes in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Classic Gold colour options with a leather strap. Expect the smartwatch to be launched in a few days in India.
