Honor launched the Honor X30 series devices—the Honor X30i and Honor X30 Max back in October. The brand has now introduced the Honor X30 handset in China. Alongside it, the Honor Play 30 Plus also made its debut. Both these handsets bring 5G connectivity to the table. Let us take a closer look at Honor X30 5G and Honor Play 30 Plus specifications, features, and prices.
Honor X30 Specifications, Features, and Price
The Honor X30 features a 6.81-inch LCD display with Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,388 pixel) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the handset is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 mobile processor which is built on an 8nm fabrication process. The system on chip comes with an integrated Adreno 619L GPU that handles all the graphics-related tasks. The handset packs UFS 2.1 storage, LPDDR4X RAM and boots Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 skin on top.
Moving on to the cameras, the Honor X30 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary 48MP sensor on the device gets accompanied by a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the X30 offers a 16MP front shooter inside a punch-hole notch.

It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a Type-C charging port, which also doubles as an audio output port since the device doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 166.07 x 75.78 x 8.05mm and weighs 189g. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and GLONASS.
The Honor X30 5G comes in titanium silver, midnight black, ocean blue, gold and titanium sky silver colour variants and will go on sale starting December 24th in China. The pricing is as follows:
- 6GB + 128GB variant – RMB 1,499 (approx ₹17,944)
- 8GB + 128GB variant – RMB 1,699 (approx ₹20,340)
- 8GB + 256GB variant – RMB 1,999 (approx ₹23,930)
- 12GB + 256GB variant – RMB 2,299 (approx ₹27,520)
Honor Play 30 Plus Specifications, Features, and Price
The Play 30 Plus offers a 6.74-inch LCD display with an HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixel) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that is built on a 7nm fabrication process and comes coupled with Mali G57 GPU. The device has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X storage, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It boots Android 11-based Magic UI 5.0.
On the optics front, the device offers a dual rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary 13MP sensor on the device is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. When it comes to photos and videos, the Honor Play 30 Plus has a 5MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Honor Play 30 Plus is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 22.5W fast charging support. It packs a USB Type-C charging port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device weighs 198grams and measures 167.59 × 77.19 × 8.62mm. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.
The Honor Play 30 Plus comes in titanium silver, ocean blue, midnight black, and gold colour variants and will be available for purchase in China starting December 31st. Check out the variant wise pricing below,
