Infinix has finally confirmed the launch date of its first-ever 5G smartphone in India, after teasing it for a while. The brand has revealed that its Infinix Zero 5G smartphone will launch in India on February 14, 2022. The landing page for the device has also been made live on Flipkart, which not only confirms its launch date, but also gives us a glimpse of its black colour variant. The Infinix Zero 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and is said to be priced around ₹20,000. The tweet does not explicitly mention the launch date of the device, but has the link to the Flipkart microsite, confirming that the smartphone will launch in India on February 14, 2022.
Additionally, the microsite showcases the yellow colour variant of the device. The Infinix Zero 5G will feature a leather-life rear finish. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Infinix Zero 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and will sport UFS3.1 storage.
Though not officially confirmed, reports suggest that the Infinix Zero 5G will pack in a large 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, the device is said to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 48MP main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a macro camera. Lastly, the Infinix Zero 5G is tipped to sport a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
