Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 14 series of smartphones in September 2022. The series is said to consist of four models—the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the iPhone 14 Max. The brand will reportedly ditch the iPhone Mini this time around to add the iPhone 14 Max to its next-generation series of iPhones. In the past, there have been a bunch of leaks suggesting the specifications of the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 series. Now, a fresh report suggests that the vanilla iPhone 14 will arrive with the same price tag as that of the iPhone 13. Let us take a look at the details.

The move is said to be aimed towards boosting the sales for the model. The iPhone 14 series is expected to come with significant upgrades over its predecessor and an obvious cost increase. However, the new report conveys otherwise. As for the Indian pricing, we can expect the vanilla iPhone 14 to be priced around ₹80,000.
iPhone 14 Specifications (Expected)
Based on previous reports, the iPhone 14 is said to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will reportedly be the brand’s in-house Apple A15 Bionic processor, which is also being used in the existing iPhone 13 models. For the upcoming iPhone 14 series, we can expect the brand to introduce some performance upgraded to the processor. Reports suggest that only the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will receive chip upgrade in the form of the A16 Bionic chipset.
The iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max will reportedly retain the conventional notch at the top for Face ID sensors and the selfie camera. For photography, the iPhone 14 is said to offer a 12MP dual-rear camera setup and a 12MP front camera. In terms of software, we can expect the iPhone 14 to run iOS 16 (stable) out of the box.
