iQOO unveiled the iQOO 10 series smartphones in China back in July. Now, the company is preparing to launch the successor to the iQOO 10 lineup, in the form of the iQOO 11 series soon. The launch of the iQOO 11 series is expected to happen sometime in early 2023. While we wait for the launch details, we have the specifications of the iQOO 11 series popping up courtesy of a Chinese tipster on Weibo.
iQOO 11 Pro Tipped To Feature 144Hz AMOLED Display
As per the information shared by the tipster, the iQOO 11 Pro will feature an AMOLED display panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The company’s previous flagship lineup, the iQOO 10 had used a 120Hz AMOLED display panel. This time, the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to make use of the E6 AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate for the iQOO 11 series. Furthermore, as per the leaked details, the vanilla iQOO 11 models is rumoured to offer a Full HD+ resolution, while the top-end model will have a QHD+ resolution.
As for the hardware, the upcoming iQOO 11 series is expected to ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This new chipset is yet to be announced by Qualcomm. However, it is said that the US-based chipset giant will unveil this new SoC sometime by the end of this year. As far as the rest of the key features of the iQOO 11 series go, the vanilla model is expected to offer 120W fast charging processor as its predecessor, while the Pro model might offer up to 200W fast charging support.
