iQOO 9 Phoenix Orange Colour Option Launched In India: Price, Specifications

iQOO had launched the iQOO 9 smartphone in India earlier this year. The device was initially introduced in Alpha and Legend colour options. Today, iQOO has launched a new iQOO colour variant in India, dubbed as Phoenix Orange. The device will be available in the country via Amazon and the iQOO India website.

To recall, the smartphone sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. It features a 48MP triple-camera setup, 32MP selfie shooter and a 4,350mAh battery.

The iQOO 9 price in India starts at ₹42,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The base variant which ships with 256GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM costs ₹46,990. Customers can purchase the device for ₹38,990 via HDFC cards with no-cost EMI options.

As for the new colour, iQOO notes that the back of the Phoenix Orange variant is covered by Frosty AG Glass. The colour of the back panel changes when the device is exposed to sunlight and sources of artificial UV rays.

The iQOO 9 boasts of a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is driven by a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor. The SoC includes up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, the handset runs Android 12 out of the box.

The imaging duties of the vanilla iQOO 9 model are handled by a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 48MP Sony IMX 598 primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 13MP portrait camera. For selfies, the device sports a 32MP camera.

The smartphone is equipped with a 4,350mAh battery that supports 120W FlashCharge fast charging via a USB Type-C charging port. The device also has an intelligent display chip, a liquid cooling system, dual stereo speaker setup, and dual monster touch feature. Connectivity-wise, this 5G smartphone offer features such as ‎dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and GPS. The device lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.
