iQOO Z3 Android 12 Stable Update Rolling Out In India: Features, Changelog

iQOO had launched the iQOO Z3 smartphone in July 2021 in India. The device came preloaded with Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1. Now, iQOO has started rolling out the Android 12-based FunctouchOS 12 stable update for the iQOO Z3 5G in India. With this update, the iQOO Z3 has become the first mid-range iQOO smartphone to receive the Android 12 update in India.

The iQOO Z3 Android 12 update comes with Vivo’s proprietary smartphone OS skin called Funtouch OS 12. The iQOO Z3 FuntouchOS 12 update comes with firmware version PD2073F_EX_A_6.72.7 and the OTA (Over-The-Air) update’s file size is around 4GB in size. iQOO is yet to confirm iQOO Z3 Android 12 update rollout. As usual, this could very well be a phased rollout, so the update might take up to a couple of weeks to appear on your unit. iQOO Z3 5G: Specifications, Features

The iQOO Z3 has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor that is built on a 7nm fabrication process and comes integrated with the Adreno 620 GPU. It has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The iQOO Z3 features a triple-rear camera setup. The primary camera sensor is a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 unit. Then there’s an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the handset uses a 16MP front-facing camera.

The iQOO Z3 is powered by a 4,400mAh battery and supports 55W fast wired charging. It also offers a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C charging port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device weighs 185.5g and measures 163.95×75.30×8.50mm.
