iQOO has launched the iQOO Z5 5G smartphone in India. The iQOO Z5 5G is the successor to the iQOO Z3 which was launched in June 2021. The iQOO Z5 5G was first launched in China a few days ago. It comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and packs up to 12GB of RAM. The device also has 4GB of Virtual RAM. The rest of the specifications of the iQOO Z5 5G include a 64MP triple-camera setup on the rear, a 16MP front-facing camera, 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery.

iQOO Z5 5G Price In India Availability

The iQOO Z5 5G price in India starts at ₹23,990 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at ₹26,990. The iQOO Z5 will be available in India starting October 3, 2021, via iQOO India’s website and Amazon. It comes in Arctic Dawn and Mystic Space colour variants.

The iQOO Z5 5G sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 × 1,080 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, up to 650 nits brightness, DC dimming, and a punch-hole-shaped display cutout to accommodate the selfie camera. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone has stereo speakers that have Hi-Res Audio support.

Under the hood, the iQOO Z5 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor that is made using the 6nm fabrication process. It uses a 28837mm² Vapour Chamber that brings down the core temperature by up to 12°C. The phone has 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the device runs Android 11 out of the box with a layer of Funtouch OS 12.

The handset features a triple-camera setup at the rear. The rectangular-shaped camera module houses a 64MP primary camera (Samsung GW3 sensor) with an F1.79 aperture. The 64MP sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, the handset sports a 16MP selfie camera that has an F2.45 aperture.

The iQOO Z5 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The device offers 5G SA/NSA (N77 and N78), a dual-SIM card slot, dual-4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone measures 164.70 × 76.68 × 8.49mm and weighs 193 grammes.
