There’s an additional 10-inch wireless subwoofer, and JBL claims that the combined output is 880W. According to the manufacturer, the new Bar 1000 employs multibeam technology to help create a larger soundstage by bouncing sound off your walls.
The JBL Bar 800 rests below the JBL 1000 and features detachable wireless surround speakers. It uses two up-firing drivers to produce real height for Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound without sacrificing quality. A comparable 10-inch subwoofer delivers an immersive cinematic experience that can be tailored for any movie, game, or song using the JBL One app.
The Bar 300 is a smaller all-in-one unit with 5.0 channels, 260W of combined power, and compatibility with JBL’s MultiBeam technology. This model includes a subwoofer but misses out on the firing drivers for 3D sound, resulting in an Atmos soundscape via digital processing. Similarly, the 500 Bar lacks real up-firing speakers, but it does have a dedicated 10-inch subwoofer module, pushing the system up to 5.1 channels. Over the Bar 300, power is raised to 590W.
These four new soundbars offer PureVoice technology, which uses JBL’s proprietary algorithm to optimise voice clarity. The JBL One app makes it simple to set up and search integrated music outlets for your new favourite tune. In addition, completely customizable EQ settings allow for a more personalised listening experience.
Interestingly, you can use AirPlay 2, Alexa MRM, and Chromecast to play music to these speaker systems, and they can be operated by your favourite voice assistant-enabled device.
