JBL, which is owned by Samsung’s subsidiary Harman Audio, has refreshed its wireless speaker and headphone line-up. This includes the JBL Flip 6, JBL PartyBox 710, and the PartyBox 110. As you can guess from the names, the Flip 6 is for personal use whereas the PartyBox speaker series is ideal when you are planning to make merry.

The portable speaker now packs in dual-passive radiators, a woofer, and a separate tweeter. JBL claims that this arrangement is good enough to deliver bass, mids, and highs without breaking a sweat. It connects over to your smartphone over Bluetooth 5.1. As per the company, the Flip 6 offers up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and supports fast charging.
JBL PartyBox 110 Features
For parties where the Flip 6 doesn’t cut it, JBL has you covered with its PartyBox 110 Bluetooth speaker. As you can guess from its name, this speaker is a centerpiece of your parties. As per JBL, the PartyBox 110 can deliver up to 160 watts of output. You also get an option to hook up two PartyBox speakers together to boost the output.
The PartyBox 110 has RGB lights to complement the music. The speaker has a convenient carry handle and is rated IPX4 for protection against water splashes. The in-built battery offers up to 12-hour playback on a single charge. For those interested in annoying neighbors with their Karaoke skills, the speaker has a mic input. You can also customise sound and light show using the JBL PartyBox App companion app on Android and iOS.
JBL PartyBox 710 Features
If you are looking for a no-comprise party speaker, it is worth checking out JBL’s PartyBox 710. JBL claims that this beast has an 800-watt output to crack up any party to 11. It packs in twin 2.75-inch low distortion tweeters, two 8-inch drivers, and a bass reflex port. The PartyBox 710 also takes the light show to the next level with a built-in strobe light that accompanies the LEDs.
Much like the PartyBox 110, this speaker is rated IPX4 for water splash resistance. It also has a set of wheels for mobility. However, due to its higher power draw, it needs to be plugged in. The speaker has mic and guitar input. Apart from Bluetooth, it can also play music off a USB. The PartyBox 710 also allows for stereo pairing if you plan to go even bigger.
JBL Flip 6, PartyBox 110, PartyBox 710 Price and Availability
JBL’s latest Flip 6 is priced at €139 and will be available for purchase in the US and Europe from November 2021. The JBL PartyBox 110 is available for purchase starting today for €359. Lastly, the JBL PartyBox 710 pegged at €749 is set to launch in October 2021.
