Lenovo has introduced two new Chromebooks in India: Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i. For starters, these laptops run Google’s Chrome OS, which has been gaining a lot of traction, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic since more people are not working or studying from their homes. Although Chrome OS is not as full-fledged as Microsoft’s Windows operating system lineup, it can get most of the work done when there is fast internet connectivity, and that too, at a lower price. Lenovo is positioning its new Chromebooks as ideal tools for online learning.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i has an 11.6-inch touchscreen and a 360-degree convertible design, which allows it to be used as a tablet. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i gets a clamshell design and misses the touchscreen display in comparison. It comes in 11.6-inch and 14-inch display variants.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook Specifications
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i sports an 11.6-inch HD touchscreen display with 250 nits peak brightness and covers a 50% NTSC colour gamut coverage. It is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 dual-core processor and comes equipped with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The laptop has a 720p webcam with a physical privacy shutter for privacy nerds. Other noteworthy features include two 2W stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and an HDMI 1.4 port. It is powered by a 42Wh battery for up to 10 hours of battery backup.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i Chromebook Specifications
The Lenovo Slim 3i is very lightweight (1.1kg for the 11.6-inch version and 1.4kg for the 14-inch version). The 11.6-inch display variant comes with an HD display whereas the 14-inch variant gets a Full HD resolution display. Both variants are powered by an Intel Celeron N4020 dual-core processor and come equipped with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Other features include two 2W stereo speakers, a 720p webcam, and Bluetooth 4.2. It is powered by a 42Wh battery that can last up to 10 hours on a single charge.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i, IdeaPad Slim 3i Price In India
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i price in India is ₹28,990. and it comes in an Arctic Grey colour option. The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i price in India starts at ₹21,990 for the 11.6-inch variant, while its 14-inch version is priced at ₹24,990. The 11.6-inch version of this Chromebook will be available in the Onyx Black colour, while the 14-inch variant will be available in the Platinum Grey colour.
All the variants mentioned above are available already for purchase via Lenovo India’s website. The prices mentioned are all-inclusive of taxes and shipping. Lenovo is also bundling in a free one-year on-site warranty with the products.
