Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 Ultimate Edition Introduced For Gamers: Specifications

Lenovo has introduced its Legion Tab Y700 Ultimate Edition in its home country China. It joins the standard Lenovo Legion Tab Y700, which was launched earlier in 2022. The Legion Tab Y700 Ultimate Edition is a gaming-centric tablet and is loaded to the brim with features. It offers an LCD Panel with 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 870 chipset, JBL speakers, and fast charging support, among other features.

The Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 Ultimate Edition is a flagship tablet and boasts of a premium metal frame and a glass back. It gets a textured design at the rear to differentiate it from the vanilla model. The rear panel is of the inductive type, which changes colour while gaming. The tablet flaunts an 8.8-inch LCD panel with a 2,560 × 1,600 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 500nits peak brightness. The display supports DC Dimming and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. 

The Legion tablet also qualifies as a gaming tab as it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is a flagship processor from 2021. In fact, it delivers significantly better performance and battery efficiency when compared to the newer Snapdragon 888/888+ and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets. For enhanced thermals, Lenovo has employed a 45,357mm2 liquid cooling chamber. It is equipped with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. 

In terms of optics, the tablet comes with a 13MP single camera at the rear. Selfie duties are handled by the 8MP sensor at the front. Other noteworthy features include a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-SD card slot, stereo speakers tuned by JBL, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.1, among others. The tablet packs in a 6,550mAh battery under its hood coupled with 45W fast charging.

The Legion Tab Y700 Ultimate Edition comes at a price tag of 3,699 Yuan (approx. ₹43,300). It comes in Ice White and Glare Blue colour options. The brand hasn’t revealed its plans to bring this tablet to India yet.
