Lenovo has launched a new gaming smartphone dubbed the Lenovo Legion Y90 in China. The Legion Y90 boasts of a 6.92-inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is powered an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It packs up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Lenovo Legion Y90 base model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3999 (roughly ₹47,850), while the 16GB RAM model costs CNY 4299 (roughly ₹51,400). The top-end model with 18GB of RAM and 640GB internal storage is priced at CNY 4999 (roughly ₹59,800).

The Lenovo Legion Y90 features a 6.92-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, and refresh rate of 144Hz. The device also has RGB lights on the logo. The handset comes with four shoulder-mounted buttons which are customizable. Powering the Y90 is an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

The smartphone packs up to 18GB of RAM and 640GB of internal storage along with 4GB virtual RAM support. The imaging duties of the handset are handled by a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 64MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device sports a 16MP camera.

A 5,600mAh battery powers the Lenovo Legion Y90. The device supports up to 68W fast charging. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone has dual Type-C ports, Bluetooth v5.2, WiFi 802.11 ax, two USB Type-C ports, and OTG support. Furthermore, the handset also has a 1600mm² of heat dissipation material and a 3520mm² large VC cooling plate. Additionally, the device also includes dual cooling fans for thermal management.

With these specifications, the smartphone could even compete with the likes of other gaming smartphones such as Asus ROG Phone 5s, Nubia Red Magic 7 series, Redmi K50 Gaming.
