Lenovo Yoga 16S, Yoga Pro 14S Carbon Laptops Unveiled, Featuring AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs

Lenovo has expanded its Yoga laptop lineup with the introduction of two new laptops: Lenovo Yoga 16s Ryzen Edition (2022) and Lenovo Yoga Pro 14s Carbon. Both these laptops are equipped with AMD Ryzen 5000 Mobile CPUs, up to 2.5K 120Hz displays, and up to 8-hour battery life. The Lenovo Yoga Pro 14s Carbon 2022 Edition has a 90Hz display, HDR, and Dolby Vision playback. It has 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 1TB storage, and has two USB Type-C ports. The Lenovo Yoga Pro 14s Carbon laptop has a 120Hz screen refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. It comes with 16GB of RAM and packs 512GB of SSD storage.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 14s Carbon is priced at CNY 7,299 (around ₹85,000) in China, whereas the Yoga 16s is priced at CNY 7,499 (around ₹87,400) in China.

The Lenovo Yoga 14s Carbon 2022 Edition features a 2.8K OLED display with 10-bit colour depth, a 90Hz refresh rate, support for HDR content playback (with Dolby Vision support), and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Powering the laptop is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor. The laptop is powered by a 61Whr battery that is claimed to deliver a battery life of up to 8 hours on a single charge. The laptop offers 65W fast charging. The Yoga 14s Carbon 2022 has 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1TB storage. Last but not least, the laptop has Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and two USB Type-C ports.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 14S flaunts a 16-inch OLED display with 2.5K resolution, a 10-bit colour depth, a peak brightness of 500 nits, HDR, Dolby Vision support, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The laptop uses the AMD Ryzen 5800H processor. Graphics processing is handled by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 discrete GPU. The laptop packs up to 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. It is powered by a 75Whr battery that can last up to 7 hours on a single charge. Connectivity features of the laptop include one USB-A Gen 1 port, one USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, one headphone jack, and an SD card reader. The laptop is made using CNC refined aluminium and is 17.4mm thin.
