LG has unveiled a new Chromebook laptop, dubbed the LG 11TC50Q, in South Korea. The Chromebook is targeted towards students who are pursuing their education online. Chromebooks are known for offering a PC-like experience at an affordable price. The new LG 11TC50Q Chromebook comes with some exciting features, including a 360-degree rotating touch display, which allows it to be used as a laptop or tablet. The machine also comes with a waterproof and dustproof body, among other features.

The LG 11TC50Q Chromebook is priced at 690,000 won (around $561/ ₹43,122). It is up for sale via online and offline retail outlets across the country. There is no word on the India launch of the LG 11TC50Q Chromebook so far.

Starting with the display, the LG 11TC50Q Chromebook flaunts an 11.6-inch LCD touch panel with 1366×768 pixel resolution. The machine has a 2-in-1 display, which can rotate 360 degrees to be used as a laptop or tablet. Powering the Chromebook is an Intel Celeron N5100 processor with Intel UHD Graphics, paired with 4GB DDR4 2933MHz RAM and 64GB eMMC storage. The storage can be scaled up via a microSD slot.
The Chromebook sports HD front and rear cameras with a built-in microphone, which can be used by students to attend video lectures without the need for additional equipment. Further, the device supports cloud-connection to let users download and utilize any software from the Chrome Web Store, Google Play Store, and so on.
The LG 11TC50Q Chromebook laptop comes with an IP41 (International Protection) rating, which makes it a water and dustproof machine. In terms of connectivity, the Chromebook supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-A port, and a USB Type-C port. It also packs in a 47Wh battery.
Coming to the dimensions of the LG 11TC50Q Chromebook, the machine weighs in at 1.44Kg. The firm grip on the white section connecting the display and keyboard makes it easy to be carried around.
