If you look closely, you will find three top-mounted speakers on the soundbar and two top-mounted ones on the rear speakers. LG says that these center up-firing speakers provide improved sound output and clearer dialogues, enhancing your movie-watching experience. The two wireless rear speakers get additional two front drivers, each accompanying the top-mounted one. These have been upgraded to six channels, from the four channels of the previous iteration. The large-sized subwoofer supports the sound system by adding deep bass.
LG promises that the soundbar won’t face connection issues or loss in quality even if all the components are placed far from each other. The rear speakers provide a 135-degree sound throw, making for a convenient placement regardless of the layout of your house. Its inbuilt AI (Artificial Intelligence) Room calibration feature analyses the room dimension to provide accurate low-frequency sound output.
The soundbar comes with Horizon Technology developed by Meridian Audio, which adds two channels to the existing 7.1 channel audio to deliver an improved acoustic experience. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X codec, and IMAX Enhanced titles support enhances your audio video experience even further. Gamers would be pleased as it supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) when connect to gaming consoles or PC.
The LG S95QR soundbar supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and other AI assistants to enable voice commands. LG WOWCAST Wi-Fi dongle enables lossless audio streaming while watching TV. LG TV owners can use a single remote control to operate both the TV and the soundbar.
That’s not all, LG says it has developed its 2022 Soundbar lineup with a lower carbon footprint to save the environment. The latest soundbars will be built with a newly developed composite fibre material that cuts carbon emissions efficiently during transportation. Additionally, the company uses 100 percent paper packaging and recycled plastic resin for its outer case.
