Last year, Nvidia’s GeForce Now app was released for LG TVs in beta. The app has finally exited beta and is now being rolled out to LG TVs in its stable build. The graphics card manufacturer has announced that the cloud-based gaming service, which lets users stream games off Nvidia’s servers, will finally be available to LG’s smart TV ecosystem. If you own a compatible 2021 LG TV, you can now download the Nvidia GeForce Now app from the LG Content Store.

This might lure potential buyers to get their hands on the LG TVs for the said duration. It must be noted that though it’s possible to access Nvidia’s streaming service on the Nvidia Shield, streaming it via the Nvidia GeForce Now app is a much easier and hassle-free option. Needless to say, it’s also a cheaper option for those who don’t own Nvidia’s set-top-box.

The good news doesn’t end here, as Nvidia is rolling out new resolution upscaling options to its Nvidia GeForce Now app. This feature could make up for the difference when one’s streaming resolution (determined by the network bandwidth) is different from one’s display resolution (less than the display resolution in most cases).
There are three upscaling modes to choose from—standard, enhanced, and AI-enhanced. Lastly, Nvidia has announced that as many as five new games are coming to the Nvidia GeForce Now service this week—Mortal Online 2, Daemon X Machina, Tropico 6, Assassin’s Creed III Deluxe Edition, and Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition.
