Logitech G, the gaming-focused division of the PC and console peripheral manufacturer, has announced a collaboration with Tencent Games to create a “cloud gaming handheld” later this year. The two companies are also in discussions with the teams at Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now, implying that these services will be supported out of the box.
The announcement just mentions cloud gaming; it’s unclear whether any games will be able to run on the device itself. This distinguishes it from competitors such as the Steam Deck, which focuses on local gaming. This console is also expected to support all major AAA titles.

With Logitech G on board, it seems obvious that the console will be created by them, as that is their specialty.
Based on that logic, Tencent will manage everything else, from the software to the support. The company already operates a GeForce Now-like service in China and has gained valuable knowledge. It will be fascinating to watch how they move into the portable console market.
