Maxima, the renowned watchmaker, has launched its new smartwatch in India: Maxima Max Pro X6. It is an entry-level smartwatch that comes loaded with a host of features including Bluetooth calling. The latest Maxima smartwatch can track several activities in addition to regular steps and sleep tracking. It features an IP67 rating that makes it water and dust-resistant. The Maxima Max Pro X6 features a 1.7-inch display with an HD+ resolution and 400nits brightness. The smartwatch comes preloaded with more than 100 watches faces. In addition to these watch faces, users will also have an option to set a picture of their choice as the watch face. Maxima is also providing users an option to switch between list view and honeycomb view for installed apps.
Under-the-hood, the Max Pro X6 features a Realtek RTL8762D chip. The smartwatch packs a set of all the regular sensors, including the pedometer, blood oxygen monitor, and optical heart rate monitor. It can also track several activities including running, walking, climbing, swimming, football, in addition to steps and sleep tracking.
The latest Maxima smartwatch uses Bluetooth 5.0 and can be paired with smartphones via the Da Fit app which is available on the Play Store as well as App Store. However, the smartphone must be running Android 5.0 or iOS 9.0 (and above) to be able to pair with the Max Pro X6 watch. Users will also be able to control music (play, pause, and jump between tracks) right from their wrist with the Maxima smartwatch.
The Max Pro X6 can last for up to 10 days (without the calling feature) on a single charge as per the company claims. It takes about 2 hours to charge and charges over a 2-pin magnetic pogo charger. The Maxima Max Pro X6 features an IP67 rating that makes it dust and water-resistant (up to a depth of 1m and up to 30 minutes). It weighs 30g (without the strap) and measures 43 x 36 x 11mm.
