Alongside the Microsoft Windows 11 SE, the American tech giant also introduced an entry-level Surface laptop—Microsoft Surface Laptop SE—aimed towards K-8 students in the US. The Microsoft Surface Laptop SE comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The base variant of the Surface Laptop SE is priced at $249 (around ₹18,520), while the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at $329 (around ₹24,470). It will be available for purchase via authorized Surface Education resellers in early 2022 in Canada, Japan, the UK, and the US.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop SE features an 11.6-inch TFT LCD display with WXGA resolution (1,366 x 768 pixel), 135ppi pixel density, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Under-the-hood, the Surface Laptop SE sports an entry-level Intel Celeron Processor N4020/N4120 dual-core processor with Intel UHD Graphics 600, The laptop has 4GB or 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC storage.

The Surface Laptop SE is equipped with a 1MP front-facing camera that can produce 720p resolution videos at 30fps. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, and 2W stereo speakers. On the connectivity front, the laptop has Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2×2), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, a USB-C port, and a USB-A port. Microsoft claims that its entry-level laptop can last up to 16 hours with typical usage and charges over a barrel-type DC connector.
