Motorola has launched a couple of new entry-level smartphones under the e-series—the Moto e22 and the Moto e22i. Both smartphones feature a MediaTek Helio G37 processor, a 90Hz refresh rate display, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 16MP main camera. Meanwhile, the Moto e22i is priced at €129.99 (roughly ₹10,300). Both devices will soon be available for purchase in select markets including Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and Asia Pacific. As for the colour options, the Moto e22 comes in Crystal Blue and Astro Black shades, while the Moto e22i is available in Winter White and Graphite Gray colour variants.

Both the newly launched Moto e-series smartphones feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch. The Moto e22 and the Moto e22i are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 processor coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of software, the Moto e22 boots Android 12-based MyUX out of the box, whereas the Moto e22i comes pre-loaded with Android 12 Go Edition.

For photography, both smartphones offer a dual-camera setup with a 16MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The new Moto e-series smartphones feature a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling. When it comes to the battery, the Moto e22 and the Moto e22i are powered by a 4,020mAh battery unit with 10W fast charging support.
In terms of connectivity, the devices offer Dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, and GPS. Other primary features on the Moto e22 and the Moto e22i include a USB Type-C port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. Coming to dimensions, the smartphones measure 163.95 x 74.6 x 7.99mm and weigh around 172 grams.
