Moto Edge 2022 With 144Hz pOLED Display and 5,000mAh Battery Surfaces, Renders Leaked

Motorola will be launching the successor to last year’s Moto Edge 2021 sometime in the third quarter of this year. The upcoming Moto Edge 2022 is reportedly codenamed Dubai+. Ahead of the launch, the design renders of the Moto Edge 2022 have now surfaced on the web, courtesy of 91mobiles and OnLeaks. Additionally, the key specifications of the Edge 2022 have also been leaked.

The leaked renders reveal that the upcoming Moto Edge 2022 will look no different compared to other recently launched Motorola smartphones. This means that the this year’s 2022 will feature a bezel-less display with a chin and a centered punch hole notch. The back panel of the device will house a triple-rear camera module and LED flash inside a rectangular module on the top left corner.

As per the report, the right edge of the device will house the volume rockers and the power button. Whereas, along the bottom edge will be a speaker grille, a microphone, SIM Tray, and a USB Type-C port.

Moto Edge 2022 Leaked Specifications

The Moto Edge 2022 is said to sport a 6.5-inch pOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The handset will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity MT6879 processor and up to 8GB of RAM. Motorola might launch the device in 128GB and 256GB storage configurations.

The upcoming Moto handset will offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter with OIS support. The high-resolution primary shooter on the device is said to be accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset will reportedly feature a 32MP front shooter.

The Moto Edge 2022 is said to come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit. The handset will reportedly measure 160.8 × 74.2 × 8.2mm. It will come with stylus support, as per the report.
